Keep walking east from Boscombe Pier and you come to Southbourne beach. Blue Flag accredited, it is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth's more popular beaches.
Along the promenade, you'll find Bistro on the Beach, which is always a good place to stop for a drink and something to eat.
Your dog cannot be on the beach between May and September.
