Bournemouth Beach

Overview

Whilst it seems that Bournemouth beach means the entire seven-mile stretch of coastline, we're talking here about the section of beach stretching from Durley Chine to Boscombe.

Immediately below Bournemouth Pier is a lovely stretch of beach. It is near the big wheel of Bournemouth and the heart of this coastline. On the promenade here you'll also find the tourist information centre and a little gift shop where you can get all your souvenirs, such as Christmas baubles and fridge magnets (what holiday is complete without these?).

Dogs are not permitted on the beach between May and September.
