Overview

Easily accessible from junction 29 of the M6, Cuerden Valley Park is a 650-acre working estate close to Preston and Chorley.

Cuerden Valley is a Green Flag park, recognising it as one of the best around and making for some wonderful walks. Dogs are allowed off lead to stretch their legs and have some fun, except for inside the Walled Garden. The estate is made up of a mixture of parkland and farmland, so if your pooch is inquisitive about livestock, you should keep them under close supervision in those areas.

Be aware of the car park. It has very tight restrictions and has caught a few people out. Make sure you pay for the exact amount of time you are there for, and to top up before leaving if you go over that.
