Overview

Drive up over the hills from Burnley towards Yorkshire and you come to The Kettledrum Inn. Situated at a fork in the road, this gastropub has a large car park and outside beer garden.

Dogs are allowed in the bar area, and because of how busy it is, we would recommend that you book. There are high tables available so if you have anyone elderly in your group, mention this at booking so you don't get allocated one of these.

In the bar area, there is table service for food but it is bar service for drinks. This can cause a wait if there are many at the bar.

Food service is very prompt. However, aside from allowing dogs in the bar, there doesn't seem to be any treats or water bowls available.

Due to the proximity of a lot of great walks, this is a very popular pub!
