Cotswold Wildlife Park

Take your pooch to see the animals at the only dog-friendly zoo in the UK

Overview

Want to go to the zoo but have a dog? Don't worry - if you are in the Cotswolds area then you can take them with you!

Take you pooch to see the lions and monkeys as you wander round this 84-hectare park. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times, and, understandably, there are areas of the park that dogs can't go into, such as the bat cave and the wolf walk. Though I could imagine a dog and a wolf being an interesting pairing inside there!

Take sensible footwear, as many of the paths are not paved, so shoes (and pooch) will soon become dirty.

Picnics are encouraged, though there are a few food stands around and a main eating hall and restaurant, though these operate seasonally.

Poo bags can be purchased at the gift shop and there are plenty of bins around. You will find dog bowls in areas too.

Cotswold Wildlife Park should be high on the list for any sightseeing pooch owners! Check with the attraction for the current opening times.
